A: Yes. We put the same care, wholesomeness and quality into our snacks & treats selection as we do our meals.

Q: Is there anywhere I will still be able to buy THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs?
A: No. THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs will no longer be available by August 2010.
Q: Why is the THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs being discontinued?
A: Mars Petcare US decided to discontinue THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs after careful consideration and evaluation. Our decision is based entirely on economic factors. Though THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs enjoyed a loyal following of niche customers, we do not expect consumer demand for the product to significantly increase in the current economic environment and offset the manufacturing costs.
Q: What varieties are you discontinuing?
A: We are discontinuing all varieties of THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs:
  • THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs with Real Chicken, Brown Rice & Vegetables
  • THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Puppies with Real Chicken, Brown Rice & Vegetables
Q: When will THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs product no longer be available?
A: THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs will no longer be available by August 2010.
Q: Does this mean you're also discontinuing the cat food and dog/cat treats in THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® brand line-up?
A: No. This decision only affects THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs. THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Treats for Dogs as well as THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Cats and Treats for Cats are still available.
Q: What would you recommend I transition my dog to?
A: As an alternative, we encourage you to transition your dog to PEDIGREE® Wholesome Nutrition with Chicken, Rice & Vegetables or PEDIGREE PUPPY® Complete Nutrition Puppy-Sized Bites.
Q: Is it safe to change my dog's food suddenly?
A: Changing a dog's diet suddenly could cause stomach issues and upset the dog's eating pattern. Pet owners should change their dog's food gradually and over the course of six days, if possible.
Q: Is THE GOODLIFE RECIPE® Food for Dogs being discontinued due to safety issues?
A: No. Our decision is based entirely on economic factors.
